As the world leader in compaction technology, BOMAG faced the question: How can our customers get the right spare part faster and more easily? And that in an international network of 500 dealers in 150 countries? A robust and user-friendly solution was needed.
The Intrexx solution
BOMAG GmbH utilized the low-code platform Intrexx to develop an innovative digital service for its customers. In a short time, the company established a multilingual webshop that allows customers to order urgently needed spare parts in real time. Employees benefit from SAP integration, enjoying a centralized portal where all data and processes are clearly displayed.
I was surprised at how easy it is to operate the Intrexx Portal Manager. You can quickly take over a lot and solve things without extensive programming knowledge.

The low-code platform enabled the entire user interface to be translated into multiple languages in no time and rolled out globally.

With their webshop, BOMAG jumps on the e-commerce bandwagon. In the "BOMAG Parts Webshop," customers can now quickly, easily, and from any location order spare parts for their machines. Customers can place their orders around the clock. Thanks to responsive design, this is conveniently possible via smartphone or tablet directly on the construction site.
SAP as the backbone.
The existing SAP system of BOMAG GmbH was integrated into the new Intrexx portal with just a few clicks. As a result, all data and ordering processes are visually represented in Intrexx, without the need to switch between multiple systems. The availability of each item is now displayed in real-time.
